I am a big lover of food; that’s no secret. So when Jay and I were in Annapolis, Md., recently, I suggested that we check out VIN 909 Winecafé. The place certainly has some bragging rights — rated #1 restaurant in Annapolis according to TripAdvisor and made Washingtonian’s top 100 list. And guess what the best part is? Completely affordable! The only thing I was upset about was why didn’t we check this place out sooner?!
Front row seats to all the cooking action.
Seriously, one of the best pizzas we’ve had. I ordered the pizza of the day, which included lamb, bacon and arugula.
The butterscotch pudding with caramel pecan sticks came highly recommended, and even though I can’t remember the last time I ordered pudding at a restaurant, we went for it.
Here’s what’s left of it. I can’t even describe how good it was. Pudding has graduated to a whole other level for me.
From one food lover to another (who are in the area), check this gem out!
