Gratitude. That is what I feel for my friend Amanda who saw me through the hard days of fresh motherhood. Her gentle wisdom helped boost my confidence during a time when I was unsure of everything.
And so it seems a little unfair that I’ll have to say goodbye to her as she and her family are moving away soon. But before that happens, we got together, and I snapped some photos of them in their beautiful home. Here are a few of my favorites…
Cheers to friends, exciting new beginnings and supporting one another. You will be missed around here!
love,
Jen
What a beautiful collection of family shots! As the one always behind the camera, I have very few photos of myself ‘in the act of mothering’. Now that my nest is empty, I wish I had more to remind me of those very intimate moments with my 4 kids.

Thank you! Mothers could always use more photos of themselves. :) I, myself, am trying to be more aware of that fact!

Lovely photos and sentiment. I too had a friend who was such a source of support in the early days and then moved away. :-( What a beautiful way to memorialize their family!
